Thing 6

The Web 2.0 tool site that I chose to navigate and discover was called KIDO'Z. It is a downloadable program that can be used on a computer, cell phone, or tablet. KIDO'Z is an app that had lots of pre-loaded safe content for children to use but it also allows children to explore and navigate while filtering out inappropriate content and sites. The program automatically updates itself with new programs as they become available.

I think this would be  a great tool to have in the classroom to make sure that the children have a safe fun way to navigate the web, watch videos, and play games while making sure they are not viewing inappropriate content.

It is easy to use all you have to do is download it and begin using. I like that it has advanced parental controls that allow you to monitor the programs that or on it and what the children are doing. You can even set a time limit for use so that children are not spending too much time on the computer. It also has an app blocker and ad blocker so that there are not unexpected ads popping up while the child is trying to navigate his/her way through the programs.
